Shift Cable: Adjustments

P311 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TRANSAXLE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: ADJUSTMENT

ADJUSTMENT

1. ADJUST TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to the N position.

(b) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.
(c) Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

(d) Push the control shaft fully downward.
(e) Return the control shaft lever 2 notches to the N position.

(f) Move the slider in the direction indicated by arrow A and pull up the lock piece in the direction indicated by arrow B.

NOTICE:  Do not damage the boot.
