20. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION See: Adjustments
21. ADJUST TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Adjustments
22. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER OPERATION See: Adjustments
23. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNIT

(a) Connect the shift lock ECU connector and transmission control switch wire connector.
(b) Install the shift lock control unit with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9ft-lbf)
