HINT: If the shift lever is moved from the R to the N position, the moving distance of the shift lever from the original point to the gear
activation point becomes longer.
(1) Move the shift lever to the N position.
(2) Loosen the 2 bolts.
(3) Slightly turn the shift lever position switch counterclockwise.
(4) Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10ft-lbf)
(5) Recheck the shift lever position.
