Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: KNOCK SENSOR:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Install the 2 knock control sensors with the 2 bolts as shown in the illustration.

Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 knock control sensor connectors.

2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation)

3. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation)

4. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Installation)

5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation)

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation)

7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation)

8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
