a.
Using SST, remove the oil filter.
SST: 09228-06501
b.
Remove the union bolt.
5.
Water bypass pipe replacement.
a.
Remove the (2) bolts, (2) nuts and the water bypass pipe
b.
Install the No.2 and No.3 water bypass hoses with new hose clamps to new water bypass pipe.

Install each hose with white paint stripe facing towards front of the vehicle.
^
Position hose clamp ends parallel with the water bypass pipe.
c.
Install a new water bypass pipe O-ring.
d.
Install a new water pump cover gasket.
e.
Secure the water bypass pipe with corresponding (2) bolts and (2) nuts.
