Disconnecting Hoses From Throttle Body

Disconnect following hoses from bottom end of throttle body:
a. Water by-pass hose from water outlet. (Number 1 in image)
b. Water by-pass hose from water by-pass pipe. (Number 2 in image)
c. Air hose from air tube. (Number 3 in image)

On California models, disconnect EGR gas temperature sensor connector, then remove two vacuum hoses from EGR VSV and vacuum hose
from charcoal canister.

On California models, disconnect vacuum hose clamp, then loosen union nut of EGR pipe and remove two bolts, EGR valve, vacuum modulator,
vacuum hoses assembly and gasket.
Disconnecting Vacuum Hoses
13.
Disconnect vacuum sensor hose and brake booster hose from intake chamber and vacuum sensing hose.
14.
On models equipped with A/C, disconnect A/C magnetic clutch VSV connector.
15.
On models equipped with A/C, disconnect air hose from A/C VSV.
