Remove the 4 bolts

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts

f.

Disconnect the following hoses from the throttle body and remove the throttle body.

1. Water bypass hose from water outlet
2. Water bypass hose from water bypass pipe.
3. - California vehicles:

- Air hose from cylinder head

- Federal vehicles:

- Air hose from air tube

6. DISCONNECT POWER STEERING VACUUM HOSES.

7. DISCONNECT VACUUM HOSES FROM EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS CONTROL (EVAP) THERMAL VACUUM VALVE.

8. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE AND VACUUM MODULATOR.

a. Disconnect EGR temperature sensor electrical connector.
b. Disconnect the following hoses:

1. 2 vacuum hoses from the VSV for EGR
2. Vacuum hose from charcoal cannister

c. Disconnect the vacuum hose clamp.
