2. CONNECT THE INJECTOR CONNECTORS.

3. INSTALL THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

Connect the 2 wire clamps to the wire brackets on the intake manifold.

Install a new gasket and the intake manifold with the 6 bolts and 2 nuts.

Uniformly tighten the bolts and nuts in several passes.

Torque:  19 Nm (14 ft.lb)

Install the number 1 air intake chamber and manifold stays, wire bracket with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 14 mm head bolts - 42 Nm (31 ft.lb)

12 mm head bolts - 22 Nm (16 ft.lb) 

4. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE HARNESS WITH WIRE CLAMP AND BOLT.

5. CALIFORNIA MODELS ONLY 

-

Connect vacuum switching valve (VSV) for fuel pressure control connector and vacuum hoses.

6. CONNECT KNOCK SENSOR AND VSV FOR EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) CONNECTORS.
