Variable Induction Control Valve: Service and Repair
INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT HOSES FROM INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE

Disconnect these hoses:
(1) Brake booster vacuum hose
(2) Actuator vacuum hose

Disconnect the DLC1.
2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE

Remove the 4 nuts and DLC1 bracket, and disconnect the ground strap and cable.

Remove the intake air control valve by prying a screwdriver between the intake air control valve and air intake chamber.

Remove the gasket.
