Oil Cooler: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
2. REMOVE OIL FILTER
3. REMOVE OIL COOLER
a. Disconnect the 2 water bypass hoses from the oil cooler.
b. Remove the union bolt and plate washer.
c. Remove the nut and oil cooler.
d. Remove the O-ring from the oil cooler.
INSPECTION
Inspect Oil Cooler
Check the oil cooler for damage or clogging. If necessary, replace the oil cooler.
