ARMREST BUN FELT TAPE IMPROVEMENT

'97-'98 Camry

Introduction

During the 1997 and 1998 model years, the Camry's Armrest Bun utilized "Anti-squeak Tape" (felt tape) around the inside of the bun. Under certain
conditions the adhesive on the tape will detach from the vinyl and slide down, becoming exposed on the bottom edge of the bun. To remedy this
condition, the "Anti-squeak Tape" and foam pad on bracket has been omitted and three new foam pads added to the service part and in production as
illustrated:

Repair Procedure

Follow the instructions packed in the parts kit or TSB B0027-97 to install.

NOTE:

1.

Armrest Bun is applicable to all 97-98 Camry except Leather.

2.

Foam Pads are only Installed on TMC production vehicles.

3.

The Information in this bulletin supercedes step 1 in TSB B0027-97.
