NOTE: If the rotor disc cannot be removed easily, return the shoe adjuster until the wheel turns freely.

Remove shoe return springs [Two Wheel Drive (2wd) without Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) and Four Wheel Drive (4wd)]

Using Special Service Tool (SST), remove the shoe return springs. SST 09717-20010

-

Remove shoe return springs [2WD with ABS]

-

Using needle-nose pliers, remove the shoe return spnngs.

Remove front shoe, adjuster and tension spring

-

Slide Out the front shoe and remove the shoe adjuster.

-

Remove the shoe strut with spring.

-

Disconnect the tension spring and remove the front shoe.
