Jumper Installation

(i)

Using a suitable jumper wire connect terminals +B and FP of the data link connector 1.

Tester Hook-up

Connect the test probes to the battery, and check that the fuel spray is as shown. 

NOTICE:Perform this check within the shortest possible time.

Drip Testing

INSPECT LEAKAGE

(a)

In the condition above, disconnect the test probes from the battery and check fuel leakage from the injector.

Fuel drop:

One drop or less per minute

(b)

Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

(c)

Remove wire..

(d)

Connect the fuel inlet hose with two new gaskets and the union bolt.

Torque: 29 N-m (300 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbs)
