Coil Wire Removal

4.

Using a screwdriver, lift up the lock claw and disconnect the secondary ignition coil wire.

5.

Disconnect the secondary ignition wires from the spark plugs.

6.

Remove the distributor hold down bolt and remove distributor from cylinder head.

Remove and discard distributor O-ring.

INSTALLATION:

TDC Timing Mark

1.

Turn crankshaft clockwise and set #1 cylinder to TDC. Align notch in crankshaft pulley to TDC mark on timing belt cover. Ensure position of slit
on intake camshaft.

Install a new O-ring to distributor and apply a light coat of engine oil to O-ring.
