Remove the hose clamp. (c)

Disconnect the following vacuum hoses:
-

Vacuum hose (from charcoal canister) (1).

-

Vacuum hose (from port R of Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Modulator). (2)

-

Vacuum hose (from port E of Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Modulator). (3)

-

Vacuum hose (from upper port of Thermal Vacuum Valve). (4)

-

Vacuum hose (from lower port of Thermal Vacuum Valve). (5)

Disconnect the following hoses:
-

Water bypass hose (from intake manifold). (1)

-

Water bypass hose (from water inlet housing). (2)

-

Air assist hose. (3)

Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, Exhaust Gas Recirculation Gas Temperature Sensor bracket, and Throttle Body and gasket.
