Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER

-

Disconnect level warning switch connector

-

Take out fluid with syringe

CAUTION: Do not let brake fluid remain on a painted surface. Wash it off immediately.

Disconnect brake tubes

-

Using Special Service Tool (SST) #09751-36011, disconnect brake tubes from the master cylinder.

-

Remove the three nuts and 3-way union.

-

Remove the clamp.

-

Remove the master cylinder from the brake booster and remove the gasket.
