Removing Terminal from Connector

Use the special tool you have constructed in step 1 to disengage the terminal retainer locking lug (see illustration). The connector body has marks to
locate the terminal retainer locking lug.

Note:
Location of the terminal lug varies according to the connector shape (number of terminals).

A.

Male Connector Non-Waterproof Type

Push on the terminal retainer locking lug (clip) and push the terminal retainer out to the temporary lock position.
