HINT:  If the drive shaft could not be pulled out, using a brass bar and a hammer, tap out the drive shaft.

REMOVE SIDE GEAR SHAFT FROM TRANSAXLE

(a) In order to install the side gear shaft, push the side gear shaft to the differential.

Measure and note the distance between the transaxle case and the side gear shaft.

(b) Using SST, drive out the side gear shaft. SST 09520-32012

9. IF NECESSARY. REPLACE SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, pull out the oil seal from the case.
