Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Recover refrigerant from refrigeration system.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Evacuate air form refrigeration system.
Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.
Specified amount: 850 +/- 50 g (29.98 +/- 1.76 oz.)

2. Remove upper cover.
3. Remove cooling fan.
4. Remove 2 bolts and 2 upper supports.
5. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 liquid tubes.

Torque: 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

NOTE: Cap open the fittings immediately to keep moisture out of the system.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Lubricate the new O-rings with compressor oil and install the tubes.

6. Remove headlights on the both sides.
7. Remove two bolts and lean the radiator backward, then remove the condenser.

INSTALLATION NOTE: If condenser was replaced, add compressor oil to compressor.
Add 40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil: ND-8 or equivalent
