FOR VEHICLES WITH DISC BRAKES

(a)

Reinstall the brake disc.

(b)

Reinstall the brake caliper and torque the 2 mounting bolts.

TORQUE: 47 Nm (475 kgf.cm, 34 ft.lbf)

3.

REINSTALL THE REAR WHEELS AND TORQUE THE LUG NUTS

TORQUE: 103 Nm (10 50 Kgf.cm, 34 ft.lbs)

TEST THE BRAKES

1.

TEST THE PARKING BRAKES 

2.

TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO CHECK PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE BRAKES

3.

FOR VEHICLES WITH ABS,

NOTE:

The following directions are set for SST 09843-18020. Scan tools can be used in place of the SST. Please follow proper scan tool instructions.

Make sure that the ABS indicator light goes on for 3 seconds when the ignition switch is turned ON.
