a. Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets from the caliper, then disconnect the flexible hose from the caliper.
b. Use a container to catch the brake fluid as it drains out.

3. REMOVE CALIPER

a. Remove the 2 installation bolts.
b. Remove the caliper from the torque plate.

4. REMOVE 2 BRAKE PADS WITH ANTI-SQUEAL SHIMS
5. REMOVE 2 PAD SUPPORT PLATES

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL 2 PAD SUPPORT PLATES
2. INSTALL 2 BRAKE PADS WITH ANTI-SQUEAL SHIMS

NOTICE:  Apply disc brake grease to the parts indicated by arrows.

3. INSTALL CALIPER

a. Install the caliper to the torque plate.
b. Install the installation bolts.

Torque: 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft. lbs.) 

4. CONNECT FLEXIBLE HOSE 

Connect the flexible hose and 2 gaskets, then install the union bolt to the caliper.
Torque: 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.)

NOTICE:  Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole on the caliper.

5. FILL BRAKE RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID, BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM
6. CHECK FOR LEAKS
7. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
