Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1.

Remove air intake hose, fully depress accelerator pedal and ensure that throttle valve is fully open. If not, adjust accelerator linkage.

2.

Hold accelerator pedal fully depressed, and adjust cable to obtain 0-0.04 inch clearance between end of housing and inner cable stop, Fig. 1.

3.

Tighten adjusting nuts to secure adjustment and release accelerator pedal.

4.

Fully depress accelerator pedal and recheck adjustment.

5.

Install air hose and road test vehicle.
