Radiator: Service and Repair

1.

On models with coded audio anti-theft systems, refer to Technician Safety Information for code procedures.

2.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle.

3.

Drain coolant from engine and radiator.

4.

Remove cruise control actuator cover.

5.

Disconnect upper radiator and coolant reservoir hoses from radiator.

6.

Disconnect lower radiator hose at engine, then transaxle oil cooler extension lines.

7.

Disconnect electric cooling fan and temperature sensor connectors, then cruise control cable from holder on fan shroud.

8.

Remove upper radiator mounts, then lift out radiator and cooling fans as a unit.

9.

Remove transaxle cooler extension lines and lower radiator from radiator.

10.

Remove securing bolts, then the electric cooling fans and shrouds.

11.

Remove lower radiator mounts.

12.

Reverse procedure to install. 

13.

Reset audio anti-theft system, if necessary, as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
