Vacuum Hose Removal

15.

Disconnect brake booster vacuum hose, PS air hose, PCV hose and IACV vacuum hose.

Disconnect two ground straps.

Disconnect cold start injector connector.

18.

Place a suitable container or shop towel under fuel pipe No. 2. Remove union bolt and two gaskets, and disconnect injector pipe.

WARNING: Fuel system may be under pressure, loosen union bolt slowly.

Engine Hanger And Intake Stay

19.

Remove two bolts and No. 1 engine hanger.

20.

Remove two bolts and air intake chamber stay.

21.

Loosen EGR union nut, two bolts and remove EGR pipe.

22.

Remove bolt and disconnect hydraulic pressure pipe from the air intake chamber.

Connector And Hoses

23.

Disconnect three emission control vacuum hoses, two water by-pass hoses.
