Throttle Body: Service and Repair

Throttle Body, Exploded View

1.

Disconnect negative battery terminal.

2.

Drain engine cooling system.

3.

Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle linkage.

4.

A/T models, disconnect throttle cable from throttle linkage.

Volume Air Flow Meter

5.

Disconnect volume air flow meter connector, coil cord clamp and air hoses.

6.

Loosen air cleaner hose clamp bolt, disconnect air cleaner cap clips.

7.

Remove air cleaner cap and volume air flow meter together with air cleaner hose.

8.

Disconnect throttle position sensor connector.
