Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair
Passenger's Side Air Bag Module

1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. Remove glove compartment door finish plate.
3. Remove driver side air bag module as outlined under Air Bag Module, Service and Repair.
4. Remove steering wheel as outlined under Spiral Cable, Service and Repair.
5. Remove under cover No. 2, instrument lower panel, glove compartment panel and door, combination switch, center cluster finish panel, radio,

cluster finish panel and heater control panel, Fig. 37.

6. Remove passenger side air bag module righthand side mounting bolt, then remove remaining air bag module mounting bolts.
7. Remove air bag module and store with air bag door facing up.
8. Reverse procedure to install and tighten bolts to specifications.
