5. Inspect Fuel Pressure VSV for open circuit.

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between the terminals.

Resistance:  33 - 39 Ohms at 20°C (68°F).

If there is no continuity, replace the Fuel Pressure VSV.

6. Inspect Fuel Pressure VSV for ground.

^ Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the body.

^

If there is continuity, replace the Fuel Pressure VSV.

7. Inspect Fuel Pressure VSV operation

Check that the air flows from ports E to G.

^

Apply battery voltage across the terminals. Check that the air flows from port E to the filter. If operation is not as specified, replace the Fuel
Pressure VSV.

8. Reinstall Fuel Pressure VSV.

Install the Fuel Pressure VSV with the screw.

9. Reinstall emission control valve set.

^

Connect the 2 vacuum sensing hoses to the Fuel Pressure VSV.

10. Reinstall V-bank cover. Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench. install the V-bank cover with the 2 cap nuts.

NOTE:  When positioning the V-bank cover, push on the cover until a "click" is felt.

11. Reconnect Negative (-) Terminal Cable To Battery.
