Changes were made to the rear spring bumper of Japan Built Camrys:
DIAGNOSIS TIP
The groan noise due to this spring bumper is most noticeable with rear seat passengers or heavy-loads.
NOTE:
U.S. built Camrys use a different rear spring bumper, which does not make this noise, and looks different than the picture above.
