Power Distribution Relay: Testing and Inspection
Type C
KEY UNLOCK WARNING SYSTEM
Inspect Integration Relay (Type C) Operation
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1.
2. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminals 5, 6 and 10.
3. Check the buzzer sounds.
4. Disconnect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 6.
5. Check that the buzzer stops sounding.
6. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 6.
7. Disconnect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 5.
8. Check that the buzzer stops sounding.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
