ABS Actuator Brake Line Removal
3. Disconnect brake lines.
Using Special Service Tool (SST) # SST 09751-36011, disconnect the 6 brake lines from the ABS Actuator.
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kg.cm, 11 ft. lbs.)
ABS Actuator Connector
4. Disconnect connector.
Pull out the release bar, and disconnect the connector.
5. Remove ABS Actuator assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and ABS Actuator assembly.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kg.cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
6. Remove ABS Actuator.
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and ABS Actuator.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (92 kg.cm, 80 inch lbs.)
(b) Remove the 2 holders and 3 cushions from the ABS Actuator.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect connector.
Disconnect the connector, and remove the wire harness from the harness guide.
2. Remove ECU.
(a) Using a T20 torx wrench, loosen the 6 screws.
Torque: 2.6 Nm (27 kg.cm, 23 inch lbs.)
CAUTION: When removing the ECU from the Actuator, must remove it upward.
(b) Remove the ECU from the Actuator.
CAUTION: Protect the Actuator in order to prevent sealing surface from getting dirty and causing damage on the valve body. If the dirt and the
like are stuck to the sealing surface, use plastic tools or soft objects to remove the dirt. Do not use chemical solvents.
REASSEMBLY
