Camry XLE Sedan 4-Door L4-2164cc 2.2L DOHC MFI (1997)
a.
Remove the radiator cap.
b.
Loosen the radiator drain plug (on the right side of the radiator lower tank) and drain coolant
c.
Tighten the drain plug.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the radiator cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Injury may occur from fluid and steam blown out under pressure.
2.
Air cleaner cap removal.
a.
Disconnect the IAT sensor connector.
b.
Disconnect the VSV connector for the EVAP.
c.
Disconnect the cable and hoses for:

PCV hose from cylinder head cover
^
EVAP hose from throttle body
^
EVAP hose from charcoal canister
d. Disconnect the (2) clips for the air cleaner cap.
e. Loosen the air cleaner hose clamp and disconnect the hose from the throttle body.
f.
Remove the air cleaner cap and hose assembly.
3.
Water bypass hose removal.
a.
Disconnect the AC valve water bypass hose from the pipe.
b.
Disconnect other water bypass hoses from the pipe.
4.
Oil filter and union bolt removal.
