Seat Belt Buckle Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT BUCKLE SWITCH CONTINUITY
w/o Power Seat:
a. Check that there is continuity between the terminals on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).
b. Check that there is no continuity between the terminals on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).
If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt inner belt.
w/ Power Seat:
a. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).
b. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).
If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt inner belt.
