CAMBER & TOE-IN ADJUST 

1.

Measure distance between driveshaft to side gear shaft flange and Nos. 1 and 2 lower suspension arms on one side and compare to measurements
of other side. The measurements should be equal.

2.

If measurements are not equal, turn adjusting cams as necessary until arm lengths on either side are equal, Fig. 2.

3.

Measure camber and toe-in as outlined above. If measurements are not within specifications, adjust toe-in and camber with adjusting cams.

Camber & Toe-In

Prior to checking and resetting rear wheel alignment, check tire pressure to ensure it is correct check wheel runout with a dial indicator. Wheel runout
should not exceed .047 inch (1.2mm). Measure front vehicle ride height and rear vehicle ride height, refer to Steering and Suspension/Tires, Wheels
and Alignment/Adjustments. If vehicle height is still not correct, check for bad springs and worn or loose suspension parts.

CAMBER INSPECTION

Measure camber angle with suitable wheel alignment gauge. Camber should be within specifications with a right to left error of no more than 1/2 degree.
If not within specification, inspect rear suspension for worn and damaged parts and replace as necessary.

TOE-IN INSPECTION

1.

Rock vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension.

2.

Move vehicle forward approximately 16.4 ft. (5mm) with front wheel in straight ahead position on a level surface. If vehicle was backed up,
move it forward the same distance.

3.

Mark center of each rear tread and measure the distance between marks.

4.

Roll vehicle forward until marks on rear sides of tires come to the front side. If tire rolls too far, repeat step 2.

5.

Measure distance between marks on front of tires. Toe-in should be within specifications.

6.

If not within specification, inspect rear suspension for worn and damaged parts and replace as necessary.
