Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

1.

Label, disconnect brake lines using line wrench 09751-36011, or equivalent. Then cap brake lines from master cylinder.

2.

Disconnect wire connector from brake pressure switch and then disconnect level warning switch connector, if equipped.

3.

Remove master cylinder to brake unit attaching nuts, then remove master cylinder, wire clamp, gasket and 3-way union, as needed.

4.

Reverse procedure to install. Bleed brake system.
