1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2.
Remove nut and bolt securing strut rod to axle carrier, Fig. 10.
3.
Remove nut and bolt securing strut rod to body, then remove strut rod.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. Prior to tightening attaching nuts and bolts, lower vehicle to ground and bounce vehicle up and down several times to
stabilize suspension, then torque attaching nuts and bolts to 64 ft. lbs. with vehicle weight on suspension.
