TORQUE CONVERTER CIRCUIT

A42DL AND A44DL TRANSMISSION WITH OVERDRIVE AND LOCK-UP CONVERTER

1)

Check balls and springs have been added to the torque converter circuit in the lower valve body.

Valve Body

2)

Due to the addition of check balls and springs to the lower valve body, the valve body plate and upper and lower valve body gaskets have
been modified.

3)

A check ball and relief hole has been added to the lock-up relay valve in the lower valve body.

Lock-up Control Valve

4)

Due to the modification of the lock-up relay valve, the lock-up control valve has been changed.
