Pads, Replace
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2.
Remove caliper attaching bolts, then the caliper, Fig. 18. Do not allow caliper to hang unsupported or damage to the brake hose may occur.
3.
Remove pads and anti-squeal shim.
4.
Remove anti-rattle springs, pad guide plates and support plate.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque caliper attaching bolts to 14 ft. lbs.
Caliper, Replace
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2.
Disconnect brake hose from brake tube and caliper using a suitable tool.
3.
Remove caliper attaching bolts, then the caliper, Fig. 18.
4.
Remove anti-squeal shim, brake pad, anti-rattle spring, pad guide plate and pad support plate.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, then bleed brake system.
Rotor Disc, Replace
1.
Remove caliper as described under "Caliper, Replace" procedure.
2.
Remove torque plate from rear axle housing, then the rotor disc and hub attaching nuts.
