6. Check VSV operation by blowing air into pipe E, Fig. 21. If air does NOT flow through filter, replace the VSV.
7. Apply battery voltage across terminals. Fig. 22
8. Check that air does NOT flow from pipe E through the filter.
9. If not as specified, replace the VSV.
10. Reinstall the VSV. Reconnect electrical connector and vacuum hoses.
