Remove and inspect instrument panel light control switch.

(a)

Disconnect wire harness connector from light control switch.

(b)

Remove light control switch from cluster finish panel.

(c)

Inspect whether switch is new (improved) design.

Find the surface of the switch housing with the M, S or other circled letter. If there is a black or green mark on the same surface, the
switch is the new design and can be reinstalled.

If there is no black or green mark, the switch must be replaced with a new one that does have the black or green mark.

Installation

Follow the removal procedure in reverse to perform installation.

Verify operation of instrument panel light control switch.

IV. SSC Completion Label Installation Procedure

1.

After completing repair and before returning vehicle to the customer, a SSC completion label that is enclosed in the owner's letter must
be affixed to the firewall, make sure that the surface is clean and dry to ensure proper adhesion of the label.
