Celica Coupe L4-107.5 1762cc 1.8L DOHC (7A-FE) (1995)
c. Connect a voltmeter to terminals PIM and E2 of the engine control module (ECM) and measure the output voltage under ambient atmospheric
pressure.
d. Apply vacuum to the MAP sensor in 13.3 kPa (100 mm Hg, 3.94 in.Hg) segments to 66.7 kPa (500 mmHg, 19.69 in.Hg).
e. Measure the voltage drop from step (c) above for each segment.
Applied Vacuum
/ Voltage Drop
13.3 kPa (3.94 in Hg)
/ 0.3 - 0.5 v
26.7 kPa (7.87 in Hg)
/ 0.7 - 0.9 v
40.0 kPa (11.81 in Hg)
/ 1.1 - 1.3 v
53.5 kPa (15.75 in Hg)
/ 1.5 - 1.7 v
66.7 kPa (19.69 in Hg)
/ 1.9 - 2.1 v
f.
Reconnect the vacuum hose to the MAP sensor.
