Use the following P/D setting on the following '92 radios:

COROLLA:

Because the Corolla uses an extended DIN cable between the radio and PIO/DIO unit, it is supplied as a separate part. The correct DIN cable must be
used for proper operation of the audio system.

When installing a PIO/DIO Cassette or CD player on a Corolla with a '92 radio, DIN wire harness (P/N 08689-12805) is required to support the "D"
mode. If the DIN wire harness (08689-12803) is used on a Corolla with a '92 radio, the radio will malfunction, exhibiting one or more of the following
conditions:
1)

Radio plays at a normal volume but the PIO/DIO unit plays at a much reduced volume.

2)

Radio and PIO/DIO unit play at a much reduced volume.
