Evaporative Check Valve: Testing and Inspection
Evaporative Check Valve
1. Remove the check valve.
2. Check that air flows from the yellow port to the black port.
3. Check that air does not flow from the black port to the yellow port.
Inspecting The EVAP Check Valve
4. If a problem is found, replace the check valve.
5. Replace the check valve making sure that the black port is facing the charcoal canister.
