REMOVAL

1.

Raise and support vehicle.

2.

Remove Nos. 1 and 2 suspension arm-to-steering knuckle attaching nut and bolt, 

Figs. 5, 6 and 8.

3.

Scribe reference marks on adjusting cam, then remove No. 2 suspension arm-to-crossmember attaching nut and bolt. Remove suspension arm.

4.

Remove No. 1 suspension arm attaching nut, plate and bolt, then remove suspension arm.

INSTALLATION

1.

Install serrated bushing side of No. 1 suspension arm in crossmember, then install bolt, plate and nut. Do not tighten at this time. 

Suspension arms

are marked with ``L'' of ``R'' for installation identification.

2.

Install serrated bushing side of No. 2 suspension arm in crossmember, then install cam, bolt and nut, but do not tighten. Align cam reference marks
made during removal. 

Ensure side of suspension arm with spot of white paint is facing outward.

3.

Connect Nos. 1 and 2 suspension arms on steering knuckle, then install attaching bolt and nut. Do not tighten at this time.

4.

Lower vehicle to ground, then bounce vehicle up and down several times to stabilize suspension.

5.

With vehicle weight on suspension, torque attaching nuts and bolts to specifications.
