Replacement Procedure

1.

Confirm the replacement Back Door Stays are the new part by inspecting that the lot number is "FG2" or after.

2.

Remove the Back Door Stay.

A.

Remove the bolt and Back Door Stay from the back door panel.

B.

Remove the 2 bolts and Back Door Stay from the body.

3.

Install the improved Back Door Stay.

NOTE:

The rear door stays are specific to each side. Installation of a stay on the wrong side will prevent the stays from properly holding the hatch in
the up position. Take care to install the correct stay to the correct side.
