Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Removal

1. Remove exhaust manifold and front Three-Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) assembly.

(a)

Disconnect these connectors:

Oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 1) connector.

Oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) connector.

(b) Remove the bolt, nut and LH exhaust manifold stay.
(c)

Remove the 5 bolts and manifold upper heat insulator.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and RH exhaust manifold stay.

(e)

Remove the 6 nuts, the exhaust manifold and TWC assembly.
