Remove Union Bolt And Gasket And Disconnect Flexible Hose

2. Disconnect flexible hose.

a. Remove the union bolt and gasket from the caliper, then disconnect the flexible hose from the caliper.

Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) 

NOTE:  At the time of installation, insert the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the caliper.

b. Use a container to catch the brake fluid as it drains out.

3. Remove caliper.

a. Remove the installation bolt.

Torque: 20 Nm (14 ft. lbs.) 

b. Remove the caliper from the torque plate.

4. Remove 2 pads with anti-squeal shims.
5. Remove 2 pad support plates.

6. Loosen the main pin installation bolt remove the main pin.

Torque: 27 Nm (19 ft. lbs.) 

INSTALLATION 

1. Instal in the reverse order of removal. 
2. After installation, fill brake reservoir with brake fluid and bleed brake system. 
3. Check for leaks.
