If operation is not as specified, replace the A/C control assembly.
b. Inspect the A/C indicator.
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal A - 19 and negative (-) lead to terminal A - 18.
2. Push in the A/C button and then check that the A/C indicator lights up.
If operation is not as specified, replace the A/C control assembly.
3. Then, connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal A - 8 and negative (-) lead to terminal A - 21 and check that the indicator
dims.
If operation is not as specified, replace the A/C control assembly.
6. INSPECT DEF AND A/C SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the A/C control assembly.
7. INSPECT BLOWER SPEED CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
