Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH
1. Remove the reservoir tank cap and strainer.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Check that there is no continuity between terminals with the switch OFF (float up).
4. Use syphon, etc. to take fluid out of the reservoir tank.
5. Check that there is continuity between terminals with the switch ON (float down).
6. Pour the fluid back in the reservoir tank.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
