10. Install the wave washer so that its protrusions fit into the slots in the side rear plate.
11. Install the rear housing after doing the following.
a. Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid and install it to the housing.
b. Install a new snap ring to the front housing.
12. Install the spring and flow control valve,facing the correct direction.
13. Install the pressure port union and perform the following.
a. Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid and install it to the union.
b. Torque the union to 69 Nm (51 ft. lbs.).
14. Install oil reservoir and bracket and do the following.
a. Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid and install it to the reservoir.
b. Tighten the 4 bolts as follows. Tighten the 12 mm bolts to 13 Nm (9 ft. lbs.), and the 14 mm head bolts to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
15. Install the air control valve, then do the following.
a. Install a new union seat.
b. Tighten the valve to 36 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
16. Install the vane pump pulley by doing the following.
a). Install the woodruff key to the vane pump shaft.
b. Using the 09960 - 1001 0 (09962 - 01000, 09963 - 01000) SST to stop the pulley rotating, then tighten the nut to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
17. Measure the power steering vane pump rotating torque.
