5. After completing the check, disconnect terminals Tc and E1, and turn off the display.

Clearing Trouble Codes

Diagnostic Trouble Code Clearance

1. After completing repairs the diagnostic trouble code retained in memory can be cleared by removing the ECU-B fuse for 10 seconds or more, with

the ignition switch off.

2. Check that the normal code is displayed after connecting the fuse.

DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOMS

If a normal code is displayed during the diagnostic trouble code check but the trouble still occurs (reappears), troubleshoot for each problem
symptom, checking the circuits for each symptom in the order given in the table below. Proceed to the page indicated for each circuit.
